GZG - 18mm FSE

Hello again all,

Just finished my GZG - 18mm FSE .

Another great faction by Ground Zero Games.

Still waiting for his new stuff as I'm running out of 18mm metal minis to paint.

I have said it before & I will say it again, nothing beats the weight of metal figs ( perhaps because I'm old school ).

Unless one is doing conversions ( off course ) then plastic figures & vehicles are the best.

3d printing is great for versatility /huge choice , especially if one can use a 3d prog.

I added a Khurasan vehicle ( which I had for ages ) + another 2 scratchbuilt / 3d printed ones.

Also added 3d printed mechs & power armour which I found free on thingyverse ( If I remember correctly ) and Rebel minis tracked drones plus scratchbuilt sprue mortars/light artillery.

Scratch built or converted 18mm Scifi vehicles

Hello again,

These are failed 3d prints . All are PLA. Used card, other 3d printed parts etc to make something out of them , instead of throwing them away.

15/18mm Scifi Home Away Team - Khuul & the Gang

Hello again all,

Another team.

It is fun to paint small amount of unique miniatures as you can really spend time on them rather then painting squads or armies.

Khuul the midget technomancer ( think Jokaero) ( made out of milliput/green stuff ) , 2 bodyguards ( the large one is a modified 25mm mini ) and the sentient carnivorous alien, called Big B or simply B.

All minis are alternative armies.

18mm Scifi GZG Islamic Federation

Hello again all,

Here is a selection of the GZG Islamic Federation.

Very nice minis & the ones with the beards are especially characterful.

The vehicles are all 3d printed/kitbashed/converted. 

The Mechs ( Affrit class) are scratchbuilt.

Yet more vehicles for 15mm modern/scifi

Hello again all,

Had this Airfix 1/72  Scammell tank transported for around 30 years ... the price on the box was 55c. !!!

Lovely model . I decided not to build the rear part and use the parts to build another vehicle.

Still a wip.

The new one is finished.  vidcaster or command vehicle.... the transmitters/radar hex pattern was made by using the bottom of a brand new slipper 😁 to make a press mould.

All I need is a film crew now.  Khurasan & Ion Age both have a nice set.
