Truth be told printed at this size they are more 10 - 12mm scale , when comparing the grey mini to hatches. The camo was done using 1 ,2 & 3 mm square stamps cut from one of those not cork wine bottle stoppers. Very handy.
These are my 10,12 or18 mm 3D printed Steampunk / Scifi Mechs.
These are Rose Gold Pewter Support Walkers.
Very nicely detailed models ( e.g. the welded lines on top of the hull of the one with 4 exhausts ) . I quite like the wheels which remind me of Dreampod 9 mechs.
The weapons especially the long rifle are great also.
The minis are 12 & 18 mm.
These models would fit perfectly in a steampunk setting like Scoutsifer's Oil & Iron but also a scifi one.
Thank you for your comments.

Those are very nice. I like the bulky, grimy feel they've got. Good work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Toby.
ReplyDeleteStill an early wip but you're right, they're great models.
The grimy effect is a purple/black wash & a blue/black wash directly on the grey Elegoo Abs like 2 resin , no undercoat.
No i'll build up colour & then more washes....until I get the desired result.
Will post more as soon as finished.
