Puppetwar 3d printed 18mm Strikers

These are my Puppetwar 3d printed 18mm Strikers .
https://puppetswar.eu/digital-files/all-strikers.html
They are printed at approximately 22mm so as to compare well to my 18mm human metal minis. This is the same scale I use for Wh40k .
Humans -18mm, Space Marines 22mm, Terminators 25mm etc. 2 Euro cent piece for scale.

Puppetwar make great minis but obviously scaling down , 3D printing. kitbashing, building & painting them at 18mm scale has its pros & cons.
I really wish they would do scaled down ready built 18mm versions.  Others do it so I would not think it is difficult to do.

Printing them at 32mm or bigger really shows their detail & they would be good as WH40K proxies.
The Bushi one, shown below & painted as a White Scar is a great example ( this mini was printed , so to say, out of the box as is & came out at around 40mm ) . Their minis are designed for their system , so keep this in mind if you are going to print them as proxies.

The mechs are great designs also. I modded one with open visor, just added 2 pistons.
Now they have larger ones which I still need to print.

GZG - 18mm FSE

Hello again all,
Just finished my GZG - 18mm FSE .
Another great faction by Ground Zero Games.
Still waiting for his new stuff as I'm running out of 18mm metal minis to paint.

I have said it before & I will say it again, nothing beats the weight of metal figs ( perhaps because I'm old school ).
Unless one is doing conversions ( off course ) then plastic figures & vehicles are the best.
3d printing is great for versatility /huge choice , especially if one can use a 3d prog.

I added a Khurasan vehicle ( which I had for ages ) + another 2 scratchbuilt / 3d printed ones.

Also added 3d printed mechs & power armour which I found free on thingyverse ( If I remember correctly ) and Rebel minis tracked drones plus scratchbuilt sprue mortars/light artillery.

The mechs are Mf-19 Fenrir Battle Suit - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5232227
The PA are 6mm battle armour - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5206420

Weird World War 2 --15/18mm German Mechs

Hello again all,
Here are my first 2 AEWW2 German medium mechs.
I think they can easily be used in another steampunk/dieselpunk setting.

These are 3D printed & bought from Filamentio.
Lovely posable ( ball & socket) models with very nice detail.

They are designed for 28/32mm so building & re supporting in 15/18mm takes time ( tedious sometimes) but worthwhile. Note that I kitbashed the MG42 pintle mount & inserted a steel needle in it to make it stronger.
I love the bars ( bull bars?) on these models & this was the main reason I added loads of stowage.

If you're into this genre + sci-fi , he has more great mechs & vehicles. I will be printing & showing more... Plus also scifi ones not just AEWW2.
These will be used with my previous models ( still a lot to do ) Black-earth-6mm-uef-hulk-suits.html

Please identify these 28mm scifi minis.

Can anyone, please identify these minis &who is producing them now ?

As far as I know they were made by Hasslefree & then sold to another UK based company, though I have no idea who .

Thanks

15/18mm Scale Pipelines

Hello again all,
Here is my latest bit of terrain.
Generic Pipelines.

Various bits & bobs used including spice containers, a/c drain pipes, 3D printed resized pipes & fittings , balloon 6mm diameter tubes & card. The computer terminals are from Antenocities. 5mm ( hole size) chicken wire was used for the railings.

White PVA was mostly used with CA for the magnets.

The bases are made of double Pinsa box card ( just fyi Pinsa is a rectangular type of pizza native of Rome ). So if you can get hold of this type of box card it is some of the best around. Much sturdier than normal pizza card.... and it is obviously recyclable. I stuck mosquito netting to it to add texture.

Almost all the bits have 4mm magnets. Almost all because I made a mistake with the orientation of some of them 😒  ( now I've made a jig with 2 magnets & sprue to avoid just this ... about time !!! )
Anyway, to counter act this I used the heads of old 4 to 5'' nails ( cut down to size ) & 1 euro cents stuck to some of the pipes or terrain.

I plan to use these with my power station

and my guard tower & fence

3D printed 18mm Starcraft Marines

I found these on thingyverse, I think.
Very nice , chonky &  free models.

I modded some of them to have a squad of 10. Not all of them printed perfectly ( the revolvers, which is a pity ) but they are passable .
