Latest Conversions

Hello again all,
here are some of my latest conversions. Head swaps between Armies army penal legion & Brigade minis tank crews. This was a very fiddly operation but worth it at the end as now I have more variations. As you can see the 2 sets were made for each other. The other is a Vtol for my Space British Expeditionary force made from a plastic 1/72 Tomcat kit.The base is a 50mm GW clear base.
Enjoy

The penal legion one on the right is now with Satchel charges

The ones with spanners have been converted to flame throwers.

A Tale of a 1000 Rivets - Scifi Ork Scratchbuilds Part 4

Hello again All,
Now I've added a Heavy Ork Bommer

That's it I've finished my ork Airforce, 3 Fly Boxes & one Chopper. The base idea came from a WW2 Russian airplane, a Polikarpov I-16 ( and if you think my work is good , check out this superb paper model here ). http://papermau.blogspot.com/2011/09/polikarpov-i-16-russian-plane-by-modele.html

As usual all are made from card etc. This is a clear example that you can build virtually what you like if you put your mind to it , especially if you want multiple models but can't afford them.

I know you'll like them and as usual may you be inspired

MMG Stuff

This morning i got my first package from Mad Mecha Guy ..... & was reminded of the classic Robert Duval's " I love the smell of napalm in the morning " but this time it was " I love the smell of burnt wood in the morning " :):):) as I was eagerly waiting for it.

I love bridges & girders & stuff so I asked MMG if he could do a design of mine & this is the result after he tweaked it so that his laser could cut it .My design cuts 2 shapes with one cut so I have loads ( a ton !! ) of nice notches triangles to play with. The off cuts will be used for rubble etc.

I planned these for 15 & 28mm ,but you can design practically for any scale .You can see MMg's stanchions for scale in one of the pics. This is their link  http://www.madmechaguy.co.uk/15mm-corridor-bits.html

I'm quite pleased with the results , relatively short delivery , good communication ,  fair price & postage.
I'd recommend him any day. .... and now my head is swimming with more projects

May you be inspired
