Panthera ALF - 18mm 3d printed minis & Papsikels FKMSA Droids

Here are Panthera ALF (Azara Liberation Front ) 18mm 3d printed minis & Papsikels FKMSA Droids.

Another set of great minis by Panthera .

The Papsikels FKMSA Droids are among the nicest around.

I decided to paint half in green & the others in white for variety.

One thing that I found & wish to share is that euro coin bases are perfect for metal minis but are murder for 3d printed ones as they add a lot of weight to falling damage. The best bases I found for these are FDM 0.75 to 1mm thick PLA or PETG ones. Loads can be fitted on the plate and take only an hour or so to print .

Most probably transparent ones can also be done but I still have to experiment on these.

Khurasan Saucer Head Droids & GZG old NI 18mm minis

These are the Khurasan Saucer Head Droids & GZG old NI 18mm minis.

The droids come in a different than normal design as they have no base, so would be perfect for those that use transparent bases.

These are quite lovely & unique sculpts, especially with their saucer crab like heads + eyes. 

If you want strange droids in your games, then these are your guys. 

They would be great for hordes and the carbine armed ones can be converted to close combat ones with some work.

Perhaps Khurasan might also make them in 8 mm scale also, someday.

The Old GZG NI are pure 15mm & so on the smaller scale but they're still useful as minis go.

2 different sets & both are great as scifi minis.

DPRG ( Brownish ones ) & US ( Greenish ones ).

PA is also GZG but I forgot which faction😑

The Atlas minis was a failed & then converted 3D print.

Alternative Armies 15mm Scifi minis

Finished the Alternative Armies 15mm Sci fi minis I had pending.

1) Security & Prisoners ( they came out quite good in orange )

2) Psykers ( Nice poses )

3) The Star Mercs ( in yellow ) are very nice minis. My favourite ones are the ones with shotguns.

4) The Grima robots ( left in polished metal + black wash ) & handlers are another nice group.

5) The SFA would make great imperial guard minis.
